This policy explains how the iOS app Patna: City Guide handles information. It applies to the current app and to this privacy-policy page.

The developer does not collect or receive personal data through the app. The app has no user account, advertising, analytics SDK, developer-operated backend or in-app submission form.

This policy page does not include analytics, advertising, tracking scripts or cookies set by Patna: City Guide. When it is hosted by GitHub Pages, GitHub may process standard website-request information under the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

Location access is optional and is requested only after you tap Near Me in Explore or tap the Atlas location button.

• Near Me uses a one-time device location in memory to sort the app’s bundled places by distance.
• Atlas uses a one-time device location in memory to show your position and recenter the map.
• Patna: City Guide does not save your location, associate it with an identity or send it to the developer.
• Every curated place and category remains available if you do not grant location access.

Apple provides the underlying Core Location and Apple Maps services. You can deny access when prompted or change permission later in iOS Settings.

Favorites, visited-place status and onboarding completion are stored in the app’s private storage on your device. They are used only to provide those app features. They are not synced to an account or sent to the developer.

You can change favorite and visited status in the app. Deleting the app removes this locally stored information, subject to the normal behavior of iOS device backups managed by you or Apple.

The Atlas embeds Apple Maps, so live map imagery and points of interest may require an internet connection. Directions and nearby searches open in Apple Maps. Call buttons ask for confirmation before opening the system phone interface.

Those system services may process request, device or network information under their own policies. Patna: City Guide does not receive the resulting Apple Maps or call activity. Review Apple’s Privacy Policy for information about Apple’s services.

Because the developer does not receive personal data through the app, the developer does not sell it, share it, retain it on a server or use it to track you across apps or websites. The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

• Use the complete guide without granting location access.
• Review or change location permission in iOS Settings.
• Change favorites and visited-place status inside the app.
• Remove locally stored app information by deleting the app.
• Choose whether to open Apple Maps or a phone action.

There is no developer-held user account or personal-data record to access, export or delete.

Patna: City Guide is a general-audience travel guide. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.

If a future app version introduces accounts, analytics, advertising, online submissions or another data practice, this page and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated to reflect that change. The updated date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
